Myself a young man who started helping his mother plough, i can assure you; there is nothing funny about farming. There is no weekend, no night time. And i hear some-one saying the young ones can do without their beauty sleep. I doubt it very much. A lot of us having graduated with fancy degrees can't imagine translating that specialist knowledge into farming. I would have thought CEDA would have gone to that BIFSC database and looked at those qualification, gone to LEA to see if it can help the young ones in their field of expertise. Industries develpo this way. There is wastage if you take a InfoSys kid become a farmer. I f the money is there make good use of it in a positive long term undertaking.
